Voltage and current

       First, consider whether the voltage and current of your lamp are compatible with the output voltage and current of the LED driver. Before purchasing the LED drive power supply, check the specifications of your LED products, refer to the specification requirements, and purchase the LED drive power supply. Different countries have different power supply standards, and there are differences in the power supply standards for households, businesses, and enterprises. If you are not sure, it is best to consult an electrician. An LED lamp is used in 220-volt alternating current, it needs an input voltage range including 220 volts LED driving power.


     When choosing a driving power source for a constant current LED, the output current of the LED must also be considered to ensure that the current requirements of the LED lamp are met. If the LEDs are connected in parallel, add all the current values ​​while keeping the voltage range stable. If the LEDs are used in series, add all the voltage values, but keep the current of a single LED the same. 
 
Dimming

       Constant current and constant voltage LED drive power supply can have a dimming function. If your LEDs are dimmable and you want to change their brightness, choose a dimmable LED driver. The specifications of the LED drive power supply will list whether it is dimmable and the type of dimming. If dimming is not mentioned in the manual, then the product is not dimmable. The dimming types generally include SCR dimming, 0-10V dimming, PWM dimming, resistance dimming, and Dali dimming. These dimmable types have been introduced in previous articles.


 
Size

        When choosing the LED driver power supply, pay attention to the size of the housing or installation area of the LED lamp. If you want to install an LED driver inside the product, the driver must be small enough to fit the internal space of the LED light. Similarly, if the driver or power supply is used outside the product enclosure, it should fit the installation area. Efficiency

       Efficiency is the ratio of input active power to output active power. LED is an energy-saving product, so the efficiency of the drive power supply is higher. It is beneficial to delay the light decay of the LED. The efficiency of general LED drive power is about 80% or even higher.

It is a mark that represents that the product has complied with European safety/health/environmental protection/sanitation standards and directives.
